Java Programming Information and References

The current release of Sun Microsystems' Java Development Kit, jdk1.1.4, is available locally on saturn.eecs.utoledo.edu in the directory /usr/home/dewing/JDK/jdk1.1.4.

Documentation is accessible by opening the file /usr/home/dewing/JDK/jdk1.1.4/index.html with a browser such as Netscape.

Release 1.0 of the graphical design package, Java-Studio1.0, is available in /usr/home/dewing/JDK/Java-Studio/JS/sparc-S2/bin and is executed by the command

js &

if the path above has been defined.

Several design examples are found at this site in JavaStudio.html.
