Donald Warner is an electrical engineer with SSOE Inc., 1001 Madison Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. Donald is a 1970 graduate of Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He also won the Outstanding Student Award, and earned varsity letters in cross country and basketball. Mr. Warner received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1976 from the University of Toledo.

Don is being recognized by the Toledo Section for his technical career, his support of the co-op program in the College of Engineering at the University of Toledo, and his extensive volunteer work in the Toledo community.

Donald’s involvement in professional organizations and societies include NSPE/OSPE/TSPE, Audio Engineering Society (AES), IEEE, American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Mr. Warner’s most recent volunteer work has included, Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, TPS Principal Mentoring Program, UT Alumni Association Board, EAUT Board, UT Science & Technology Corridor Board, UT College of Business Executive Center for Global Competitiveness Advisory Board, Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce EPIC Steering Committee, Toledo Zoo, and the Family & Child Abuse Prevention Center.

Donald considers his greatest professional accomplishment to be ‘…. doing what I can to help younger people develop, advance and realize their aspirations."
